Emma has been practising in the field of counselling and psychotherapy since 2006. Emma’s approach is to guide people to understand where their problems stem from and then work through their feelings to help maximise their potential to have an enjoyable and more fulfilling life. Emma's view is that people have all of the answers they need and her role is to guide and identify issues and patterns that can hold a person back in life. The work can offer effective solutions that will help you move forward with your life.

Training Qualifications and Experience 

Emma completed her professional training at CCPE (The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education which is accredited by both BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy)

Emma is a full member of the UKCP which is one of the UK's largest professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists, and ensures all its members are appropriately trained and qualified. Emma is registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and the RSCPP.

Emma has worked for 4 years as an honorary psychotherapist seeing patients for individual psychodynamic therapy in the psychological services department at The Warneford Hospital. She has also spent 6 years working at The Terrence Higgins Trust where she has worked with a variety of issues including sexual identity, sexual health and gender issues. Emma has delivered a number of successful coaching projects within the corporate sector.
