Therapy and coaching for students in Oxford

University can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Working in Oxford, I have seen many students carrying a great deal on their own: intense academic pressure, leaving home, new relationships, and big questions about who they are becoming.

Students I see often bring exam anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, low self-esteem, difficulties around food, drink or drugs, and questions of sexuality and gender identity. Sessions can continue online during vacations, so the work doesn't have to stop when term does.

Coaching

Sometimes the need is more practical: a clear goal and a short timeframe. Coaching with me can help with:

  • Finishing a thesis, dissertation or essay

  • Moving into work after study

  • Spotting your transferable skills

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Difficult decisions

  • Understanding your personality type

ADHD

Many of the students I see have ADHD, diagnosed or not. You can read more about therapy for adults with ADHD.
